DayCARE TO SUIT YOU
Traditional full-day daycare doesn’t suit every dog. In fact, many dogs don’t need a long day away from home. At Luna’s Doggie Den, half-day enrichment sessions are our standard offering, because a thoughtfully structured session can meet a dog’s needs fully through adventure, enrichment, rest, and companionship.
Owners aren’t paying for an afternoon of sleeping; they’re investing in a meaningful, fulfilling experience that allows dogs to head home calm, content, and ready to rest in the comfort of their own home.
How it works
Our Enrichment 4.5 hour Sessions are designed around what dogs genuinely need to feel happy, calm, and fulfilled.
1/1.5 hour walk
Each session begins with a long countryside walk (typically 1–1.5 hours) on Riddlesdown Common or Kingswood, giving dogs the opportunity to explore, sniff, move freely, and enjoy the company of a small, friendly pack.
Breakfast & Chill
After their countryside adventure, dogs return to the Den for breakfast, followed by a calm, balanced mix of rest, relaxed play, cuddles, gentle grooming where needed (or tolerated!), and enrichment. Activities are thoughtfully chosen to reflect natural canine behaviours and instincts, allowing dogs to decompress fully both mentally and physically before heading home relaxed, content, and ready for a well-earned nap.
Local pick-up & Drop off
Local pick-up and drop-off are included, making the experience simple and seamless for owners.
Our local transport service covers local clients living in Riddlesdown, Sanderstead, South Croydon, Selsdon, Hamsey Green, and nearby areas around these neighbourhoods (typically within a 1-2 mile radius of Sanderstead, CR2).
A little more detail..
I genuinely believe that after a fun-packed, stimulating morning, most dogs are happy, content, and ready for a calm, cosy afternoon in the luxury of their own home.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Service
Take the stress out of your day with our convenient local transport service, bringing your pup to and from the Den.
Pick-up times: from 8:30 am
Drop-off times: from 1 pm (or from 6 pm, following an Afternoon Chill Extension)
*Our local transport service covers local clients living in Riddlesdown, Sanderstead, South Croydon, Selsdon, Hamsey Green, and nearby areas around these neighbourhoods (typically within a 1-2 mile radius of Sanderstead, CR2). This ensures pups spend less time in the car and more time enjoying fun activities at the Den!
For regular clients, a key-holding service is also available for added convenience.
Dining at the Den
Dogs are fed separately, either in different rooms or using barriers across open-plan spaces, ensuring each dog receives the correct portion and preventing any potential conflicts.
If you’d like your dog to fully experience Luna’s Doggie Den, you can opt for a home-cooked meal the same nutritious meals that Luna enjoys daily. This is an optional extra, charged at a nominal rate to cover ingredient costs, and must be selected at the time of booking.
All home-cooked meals are prepared with care, using a mix of fresh and frozen produce, wholesome grains such as quinoa and pearl barley, and healthy dried pulses like lentils (with no added salt or preservatives). No nasties just simple, nourishing food.
With a keen interest in canine health and nutrition, I’ve completed the IMDT Canine Nutrition course and continue to build my knowledge through trusted recipe books and expert resources.
And yes all meals are Luna-approved (and doodles are notoriously fussy eaters!).
Portion Guidance
The home-cooked meal option is based on a hearty 400g Luna-sized portion.
-
If your dog normally eats less, feel free to provide a container for any leftovers.
-
If your dog usually eats more, please supply a little of their regular food to top up their meal to their usual portion size.
This ensures every dog receives the right amount for their size and individual needs.
Sample Meals
If you (and your dog) would like to have a taster of one of my home-cooked meals, I can provide a sample after our Meet & Greet session. All ingredients are safe for both humans and dogs just bear in mind that I don’t use stock cubes, salt, pepper, or preservatives, so it may be lightly seasoned for the human palate.

"I ran my own dog walking, day and boarding business for 5 years and Tracey is the only person I’d leave my setter and lurcher with (other than my mum!). They absolutely adore her and she really does love them like she does Luna. Highly recommend her"

"We feel so lucky to have found Tracey for our dog Rocky. She began with puppy pop-in visits when he was just 12 weeks old and has gradually moved on to walks at his pace as he’s grown.
Tracey always checks in about how we’d like things done, so we’ve felt completely comfortable and involved throughout. Her communication is fantastic, and her updates are regular and reassuring.
She’s also gone above and beyond with helpful advice and guidance during our early weeks as new dog owners. It’s clear she genuinely cares about Rocky and his development. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!"
Jo
"Tracey came highly recommended by another local dog walker and has been invaluable to us. She has been very welcoming to our dog who loves going out with her, as evidenced by Tracey's video updates from their walks. Tracey has been informative about her business so we know our dog is in very safe hands. Thank you!"
